Hoosiers Take Down Chattanooga 74-65

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—The Indiana Hoosier men’s basketball team picked up their 9th win of the season on Saturday by beating the Chattanooga Mocs 74-65 at Assembly Hall.
The game featured 5 ties and 12 lead changes, but the Hoosiers overcame a 7-point deficit to lead 41-38 at halftime. They never trailed in the second half. They also held Chattanooga to 33% shooting in the second half.
Indiana shot 50% from the field for the game. They outscored the Mocs in bench points (25-15), points in the paint (36-24), and second chance points (15-8).
The Hoosiers were led in scoring by Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako who each had 14 points. Chattanooga’s leading scorer was Honor Huff. He finished with 20 points while making 6 of 12 three-point shots.
Indiana improves to 9-3. They face Winthrop on December 29 at 4 pm. Pregame coverage starts at 3 pm on 93.1 WIBC.
