Hoosiers Ranked #9, Notre Dame #4 in Latest College Football Rankings

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—The Indiana Hoosiers were ranked #9 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday night. Notre Dame moved up to #4.
As far as seeding goes, Indiana is the #10 seed and they would face Georgia at Georgia if the playoffs started today.
Notre Dame is a 6 seed at this point. That would place them in a game against 11th seeded Alabama if the playoffs began today.
Oregon was ranked #1. Penn State is 3rd. Those two teams are playing each other in the Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium this Sunday.
This is the last set of rankings to come out before the official selection show on Sunday at noon.
