David Letterman to Attend Fundraiser for President Biden

MARTHA’S VINEYARD, Mass. — Indiana-born comedian and show host David Letterman will be at a fundraiser for President Joe Biden in less than two weeks.
Letterman and Hawaii Governor Josh Green will appear at the event in Martha’s Vineyard on July 29th. President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden are also expected to attend.
Following recent public appearances, President Biden has been urged by some to stop seeking re-election. Certain Democrats believe the party will have a better shot at the Presidency with another candidate.
Others, though – including former South Bend Mayor and current Transporation Secretary Pete Buttigieg – have remained supportive of his campaign.
But, the President has repeatedly expressed that he has no intention of leaving his position, and that he is confident he will achieve victory over former President Donald Trump this November.
