Todd Young has been a U.S. Senator for almost six years. During that time, he has voted to add roughly $11 trillion to the national debt. As any economist will tell you, government spending plays a key role in inflation. Todd’s repeated votes to spend money like it is going out of style has many people confused, as Senator Young spends much of his time lamenting government spending and inflation. In fact, he was doing that exact thing on Tuesday, in a video posted to his Twitter account.

The Question:

This led to a great deal of concern from Rob Kendall and Casey Daniels. Young, in Congress for 12 years, is speaking out against the exact voting record he cast. Rob and Casey pondered what could be causing Senator Young to espouse hate for the exact policies he is directly responsible for? The pair came to the conclusion Young is gaslighting (see definition above) the great people of Indiana.

The Answer:

Rob felt very strongly there was a way to get to the bottom of what’s going on with Young’s unwillingness to come clean on his voting record: A lie detector test would determine if Young is indeed completely unaware of the role his votes have played in skyrocketing prices, or if he is just a sociopath (see definition above), lying straight to the faces of Indiana’s more than seven million residents. The spirited discussion about the inability to tell the truth by one of the 100 most powerful people in our entire government can be heard below:
