LEBANON, Ind. — The family of the people murdered in a Lebanon apartment are shedding some light on who the victims were and what might have been going on when they were killed.

The three people murdered were Larry Stogsdill, his son Brannon Martin, and Martin’s girlfriend Grace Bishop. They were all found in different rooms of the apartment on the south side of Lebanon. None of them are listed on the lease for the apartment.

“It’s traumatizing and it’s devastating,” said Stephanie Spencer, Larry Stogsdill’s cousin. “All I know is that it was possibly related to drugs. Other than that I don’t know any more information.”

That leads Spencer to believe that this was not a random act of violence.

Shannon Fuentes, another family member, says she’s heard a few names of possible suspects through the grapevine of the small Boone County community.

“This is Lebanon and it’s a small community so talk goes around, and names fly around as far as suspects,” said Fuentes, who remembers Stogsdill fondly. “His nickname was ‘Beaker’. He was very funny, very outgoing. He would give you the shirt off his back, He would do anything for anybody.”

Neighbors say that police have been to this apartment building several times in the past couple of months. There have been issues with people loitering at the entrance.

Police are expected to give an update on the investigation at some point on Friday.
