INDIANAPOLIS — Eskenazi Health has confirmed a cyberattack this month led to the information of patients and employees being leaked onto the internet.
The company says the attack happened on August 4 but was quickly stopped.
At this time, there is no evidence that the attack resulted in bank or credit card fraud, but Eskenazi says current and past patients and employees should closely monitor their bank and credit card statements and report any suspicious activity.
Eskenazi Health is working with the FBI on the investigation.
