The person shot Monday morning on the city’s northeast side has died.
“Despite the best life-saving efforts of medical professionals, the victim did not survive his injuries,” said Lt. Shane Foley, IMPD Public Affairs Office.
The shooting remains under investigation.

INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition after a shooting Monday morning on the city’s northeast side.
Police were called at around 11 a.m. to a shooting at 3351 Brouse Avenue. That’s near North Keystone Ave. and East 34th Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person with a gunshot wound. The person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
