INDIANAPOLIS–A special prosecutor has been appointed to complete the investigation and oversee the prosecution of anyone, if needed, in the shooting death of Dreasjon “Sean” Reed. He was shot and killed by police who say he forced them into a car chase, bailed, then pointed a gun at them, May 6.
Reed’s mother and her attorney deny that’s what happened.
Madison County Deputy Prosecutor Rosemary Khoury was appointed by Marion County Superior Court Judge Heather Welch.
Earlier this week the Reed family’s attorney demanded the appointment happen as soon as possible.
