INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police are investigating two fatal shootings that happened on opposite sides of the city Thursday morning.
The first shooting happened at around 3 a.m. in the 3100 block of Auburn Road near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Officers arrived and found a man who had been shot. He died before he could be taken to the hospital.
The second shooting happened just after 8:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of Houston Street on the north end of Brookside Park.
Officers arrived and found a man dead of a gunshot wound.
Police have not released the names of either victim and have not shared any suspect information.
