Police cars have been removed from the popular videogame “Fortnite,” as misguided political activists and anti-law enforcement protestors pressure companies to publicly demonstrate their support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Fortnite,” a game with roughly 350 million players worldwide and normally features police cars and other vehicles, launched a new season last week that introduced a new map for gameplay. Many vehicles remained after the update, according to Fox Business, but not police vehicles.

A person connected with the game’s development told The Wall Street Journal: “I wouldn’t say it’s a political statement. I think it’s just us being sensitive about the issues many people in our audience are dealing with.”

WIBC host Tony Katz:

“If you want to engage the idea that there is something with policing that makes it more difficult to be black in America, you go about addressing those issues and you solve them to the very best of your ability. You don’t go about the concept of defunding the police. Defunding the police gets you the autonomous zone in Seattle, and that doesn’t get you anything.

“This is not kind or decent or woke. This is not a black or white thing. This is about ideology.”
