MUNCIE, Ind. — In Muncie, a woman is accused of attacking her 97-year-old grandmother on the woman’s birthday.
Jalana Taylor, 27, is accused of striking her grandmother in the face “several times” with her own cane on Saturday, police told The Star Press newspaper.
The victim was treated at the hospital for cuts above both eyes but was not admitted to the hospital for additional care, according to The Star Press.
Taylor was arrested Sunday and faces multiple battery charges.
