JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. — The Crothersville High School boys varsity basketball coach and athletic director has been arrested for child solicitation.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says on March 18, they learned about 52-year-old Gregory Kilgore sending inappropriate messages on social media to a 14-year-old female student. That’s just 11 days after Kilgore and his team won the first sectional championship in program history.
Investigators say because of the content contained within the messages from Kilgore to the student, he was taken into custody.
Kilgroe was arrested just after 11 a.m. on Wednesday. He was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he will be held until his initial court appearance.
