NASCAR Cup Series driver Matt DiBenedetto says “We will be racing this Sunday!”
It’s the NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational, and he’s excited! Fans will be too, considering the last race was on March 8th.
iRacing is said to be more popular than ever. Matthew’s been iRracing since it first began. “Most of us have similar set ups in our house. On Sunday Cup drivers will hop on iRacing and put on a race for everybody to see!
SUNDAY’S NASCAR iRACING PRO INVITATIONAL will be a 100 lap race. “It’ll be a full field…37-38 of us. It’s a cool idea because it’s supposed to be technically fun, but you get us all together and it’ll be pretty competitive.”
Matt says they’re sticking to the regularly scheduled race venue. “We’ll be iRacing at Homestead Miami Speedway just as we were scheduled to race, and this will become a weekly series so people will have an outlet to watch good racing!”
Matt DiBenedetto drives for Woods Brothers Racing and recently, they donated tablets to nursing homes so the elderly can keep in contact with family while they are unable to visit with them face to face. FANTASTIC!
