Recently, Joe Biden had to cancel some campaign events due to COVID-19. In an attempt to reach voters without holding a large gathering, he decided to do a ‘Virtual town hall’. This was his first time doing so and as you can imagine, it did not go down smoothly at all.
Not only did this town hall get to a late start, it was riddled with technical difficulties. It also had its awkward moments like when Biden slowly wandered off camera while looking down and speaking into his phone, answering questions that voters’ were asking via live chat. It seems like he was so concerned with viewers being able to hear him, that he completely forgot there was a camera there.
