Where are Republicans on the great immigration debate? Do they have legislation that can solve border issues? Do they agree with President Trump?

WIBC host Tony Katz spoke with Indiana Congressman Todd Rokita Wednesday, who told Tony that the President and fellow Republicans are strongly committed to a workable solution.

Rokita:

“The President talks about a deal and that’s what we have to consider, but we are a country of laws. The rule of law applies to all of us equally.

And really, there are one of two people who are responsible for every child in this situation, and that’s the individual child’s parents.

But, we also want to build a wall and not have this happen anymore. So we’ll give a little bit on this DACA issue, but only if we get a deal for a wall with that.”
