EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An Evansville man was arrested after he drugged and then raped a co-worker during their shift at Subway, say police.

Court documents say a woman told police she asked Jordan Johnson, 19, if he had a pill to help for her headache, and after taking the pill she had a hard time remembering what happened.

The manager told police she wasn’t there that day, but saw the woman fall over multiple times on surveillance footage.

Police reviewed the footage and said Johnson was in the utility closet with the woman and it looked like she was being forced to have sex. He was also seen standing over the woman while she had her pants down and groped her after she fell over a food prep table.

WFIE reports that multiple customers complained that employees were having sex inside the restaurant.

Police say Johnson denies what happened and wouldn’t provide a DNA sample.

WFIE says Johnson has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual battery.
