INDIANAPOLIS — Street racing led to a fiery crash late Tuesday night on Indy’s west side.
Indy Metro Police say two people were racing a Pontiac and Ford Crown Victoria on Rockville Road when the Pontiac crashed into a passing tow truck.
The two cars collided and burst into flames. The tow truck nearly crashed into a nearby house, but was stopped by a tree.
Everyone involved in the crash is okay. Police will test the drivers to see if they were under the influence at the time of the race and crash.
