INDIANAPOLIS — A soldier from Evansville, Army Specialist Drew Watters, will return home on Saturday night.
Indiana State Police will be escorting the remains of 23-year-old Watters from the Indianapolis International Airport to the Browning Funeral Home in Evansville said a press release.
Watters was killed during a training exercise in Tacoma, Washington, last Sunday at Joint Base Lewis McChord .
The funeral for Watters will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14 at the Christian Fellowship Church.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Watters was a member of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.
