LOGANSPORT, Ind.–Two people were hit by a car and killed near Logansport, in Cass County, said Indiana State Police. They are looking for information on why Zachary Wines, 26, of Walton, and Bryan Curry, 52, of Valparaiso, were in the road on on U.S. 35 north of Cass County Road 800 South.
Their bodies were found about 6:30 last night, and two cars with engines running, that police believe belonged to the men, were found nearby. Detectives believe they were hit by a car that was going north.
Investigators haven’t been able to determine why the men were in the highway, but autopsies will be conducted on on both.
