Wipe the sweat off your brow, south side commuters. Get ready for another day of long delays and traffic jams if traveling from Indy to Greenwood.
Beginning tonight at 9pm, the right two lanes and the right shoulder of southbound I-65 will close from Gray Rd. – or just after Edgewood Ave. – to Southport Rd. (exit 103).
At the same time, the entrance ramp from Southport Rd. to southbound I-65 will close, along with with the exit ramp from southbound I-65 to Southport Rd.
Work is expected to be done by Thursday’s evening rush.
Alternate routes include U.S. 31, Emerson Ave., and Madison Ave.
