Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s long-awaited “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper aired Sunday night, and it was all that Republicans anticipated it would be as the freshman congresswoman advocated for irrational and unobtainable environmental standards, 70{a951f02a8cac8e6d7fde2726b1b22da104131bed62748b49fddce88fa07005a6} tax rates for wealthy earners at “the tippy top,” and indirectly compared herself to FDR, Abraham Lincoln, and JFK.
Conservative outrage ensured in the wake of the Socialist Sweetheart’s embarrassingly daft comments. WIBC host Tony Katz offered up his own perspective Monday:
“If you haven’t figured out that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is Donald Trump, you haven’t been paying attention. They’re both the same person – no shame. They will run right through you.
…No, I don’t think you should get worked up about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calling Donald Trump a racist, but what you should get worked up about are her blatant lies, dishonesty, and proclamations that facts don’t matter – what matters is what’s morally right. What Cortez wants you to do is NOT pay attention to what she says because she is ‘moral.’”
