VIGO COUNTY, Ind.–A semi hit an Indiana State trooper’s car Saturday night.
State Police say Senior Trooper Tim Rader was working at the scene of a previous accident involving a semi that had run off the road on I-70 westbound near the 13 mile marker in Vigo County.
They say a driver in another semi saw his emergency lights on and tried to stop in time, but lost control of the semi and it jackknifed around 8:40.
Another officer says the semi driver was going too fast with snow and ice on the road. Both that driver and Rader only sustained minor injuries.
