Former Trump adviser Roger Stone appeared on Fox News Friday, responding to the indictment brought against him as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation by calling it “thin” and vowing that he was prepared for fight of his life.

“The indictment is thin indeed,” Stone said. “So what is this about? It’s about silencing me. Theres a war on alternative media. There’s a war where they’re trying to criminalize political expression. There’s a war where they’re trying to criminalize free speech.”

Stone’s comments on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” came after he was taken into custody Friday morning and indicted on charges of obstruction, making false statements and witness tampering.

WIBC hosts The Chicks on the Right responded to the indictment against Stone during their Friday broadcast:

Mock:

“I just find it really interesting that CNN was there with their cameras as the FBI showed up for the raid at the crack of dawn.”

Daisy:

“Yeah, we all know why CNN was there.”

Mock:

“There was no reason to do that; he could have turned himself in; he’s not going to flee.”
