INDIANAPOLIS–Indianapolis will host the CBD Expo March 15 and 16. Indy is the only city in the Midwest where the CBD nine-city tour will stop.

“A large number of orders for CBD from existing CBD companies and manufacturers are coming from Indiana,” said Celeste Miranda, CEO of the CBD Expo Tour. “So, we know there’s a lot of CBD users there and in the Midwest.”

Indiana legalized the use of CBD oil two years ago, but the sale of CBD oil only became legal after the General Assembly clarified the law.

“We’re finding it helps with pain. It really attacks inflammation and the different cannabinoids obviously there’s different things that they’re good at addressing,” said Miranda.

CBD oil comes from cannabis, but does not contain THC, which is the chemical that can make you high.

“It has very, very little cannabis in it. It does not make you high-it could, but you would have to take an awful nlot of it. I mean crazy amounts,” she said. Miranda uses CBD oil to help her MS.

“I use it. It has helped me get completely off muscle relaxers. It’s just really good for ailments, aches, pains, even seizures.”

She said the mission of the tour is to educate people about CBD, and most of the speakers and presenters are PhDs and MDs.

Miranda said the event will be at the Indianapolis Marriott East, and that there are still tickets. You can get a free ticket by logging on to www.cbdexpo.net and entering the FREECBD promo code. NOTE: You must register for both days to get the discount.
