TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A pastor from Terre Haute is charged with voyeurism after being accused of taking photos of other men at his gym.
67-year-old David Powell was arrested Friday by detectives from the Terre Haute Police Department.
Court documents say Powell took photos and videos of men inside the restroom and locker room at Planet Fitness in mid-February.
Powell was caught in the act by a gym employee.
WTHI reports the employee noticed someone outside the bathroom stall he was using.
When he looked up, the employee “saw a cell phone with the camera facing him over the top of the closed wall of the bathroom stall.”
The employee said he left the stall and took the phone away from Powell. When he did, he saw images of other naked men.
Powell’s Facebook page says he is a pastor at Grace Temple Church in Terre Haute.
