Conservative firebrand Tomi Lahren from Fox News and Fox Nation is repulsed by this week’s outrageous outcome of the Jussie Smollett case.

“The whole thing is very troubling,” Lahren said during an appearance on WIBC’s Hammer and Nigel Show.

Smollett was indicted on 16 counts of disorderly conduct after he was accused of staging a hate crime attack in January; however, prosecutors agreed to drop all charges after Smollett forfeited his $10,000 bond and performed recent community service with the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

“The troubling part about it is the number of Americans – especially on the left – who are doing mental backflips and gymnastics to try to justify everything that has happened this week with regards to Jussie,” said Lahren. “They’re treating this like it is some sort of victory for social justice.”

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx spoke out Wednesday for the first time since charges were dropped against Jussie Smollett, stating that the decision was not an anomaly and instead an example of an “alternative prosecution.”

“Based on the nature of the offense and his background, this was a just outcome,” she said.  “Justice takes many forms.”

Lahren also weighed in on the outcome of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into allegations of collusion between President Trump’s 2016 campaign and the Russian government. Click the link below to hear Hammer and Nigel’s full interview with Tomi Lahren.
