Details regarding a Wednesday morning shooting that involved two Clark County judges outside a downtown White Castle have been filtering into the WIBC newsroom throughout the day.

Here’s what WIBC’s news department and our partners at WISH-TV knew as of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening:

  1. Two people were injured in a downtown double shooting Wednesday morning, according to information provided by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
  2. The shooting happened near a White Castle parking lot in the 50 block of West South Street just before 3:30 a.m.
  3. IMPD says those two people are judges from Clark County that are visiting for a conference. The Clark County government named the two judges as Brad Jacobs and Drew Adams.

WIBC News Director Chris Davis joined the Hammer and Nigel Show Wednesday afternoon with further details. According to Davis, IMPD has created confusion throughout the day by withholding information from media outlets regarding this morning’s incident.
