Pacers Turned The Table On The Thunder
Pacers turned the table on the Thunder. Pacers did to the Thunder again what the Thunder normally do when they beat teams. And you could tell that the Thunder on both ends of the floor, they were discombobulated by the Pacers.
The Indiana Pacers went on a 32 nine run. That led them into halftime. The Pacers 108, the Oklahoma City Thunder 91. JMV joins us right now. He is the voice of sports in Indiana. Of course, it was three games to two. Oklahoma City up. You had to win or you were going home. There’s winning and then there’s winning well, and then there is this.
JMV:
First things first, JMV, talk about the games you saw what it is you saw. Hey, Tony, you remember we had that discussion after game #3 on how the Pacers turned the table on the Thunder and did the damn what the Thunder liked to do. A little pressure defense, taking the ball away, scoring off of turnovers. I mean really kind of reversing things. And then you go to game four. And the Thunder late in the game, get to the Pacers, what the Pacers have become synonymous with in the postseason, winning late and closing a game. But I thought last night the Pacers did to the Thunder again what the Thunder normally do when they beat teams. And you could tell that the Thunder on both ends of the floor, they were discombobulated by the Pacers. The Pacers really didn’t run away and hide with just incredible levels of offense. It was the suffocating defense and taking the ball away and the MVP turning the ball over a career high in the postseason. 8 times did SGA. I just thought that is more of a just to be than anything else on how you can get over on the Thunder is try to force their game on them because they don’t deal with that very well.
