INDIANAPOLIS- Indianapolis Public Schools are offically on fall break, October 14-18th. This also means many students are getting a break from warm meals. More than 80{46ff1f14221e6e90aab6104ff16614ca22b12c1f029f774ee196565ca96b3af3} of IPS students qualify for free and reduced-price meals during the school year.
That is why, IPS announced Friday that they will be providing a free meal program while school is on break. Seven schools in the area will have both a breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday for kids.
Anyone under the age 18 can have free breakfast and lunch, even if they don’t attend an IPS school.
