FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A former Fort Wayne police officer charged with Child Solicitation and Possession of Child Pornography made his first court appearance Friday.

WANE-TV says Andrew Beck was forced to give up his badge and gun as part of the trial.

Beck was arrested in September for having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old girl from Wayne High School, and had nearly 50 different Snapchat accounts — one of them named “bushwacker1911” — to communicate with and send sexual photos to other teenage girls.

Police say Beck also had a Gmail account with the name “hotdaddy1911.”
