HENRY COUNTY, Ind. — One man was killed and two more were injured in a Henry County crash on I-70 Tuesday morning.

Just before 8 a.m., Indiana State Police was called to the 125-mile marker on I-70 East, when a pickup truck crashed into the back of a semi. That’s just east of the Spiceland/Highway 3 exit.

ISP says the driver of the pickup truck, Troy Lemons of California, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people in the vehicle — Harry Stout Jr. of Oklahoma and Cody Callahan of Missouri — were taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, Abdulrazak Nur of Ohio, was not injured in the crash.

Police said the thick fog resulting in limited visibility is thought to have played a factor in the fatal crash.

It’s the second fatal crash in two days on an Indiana interstate. A woman was killed on I-74 in western Indiana on Monday morning.
