MERRILLVILLE, Ind.—A woman who was urinating in the middle of the street was arrested early Saturday morning in Merrillville, said State Trooper Alaa Hamed.
Hamed said he saw Tysheena Billingsly, 33, of Merrillville, squatting beside her car about 1:15 a.m., on a city street. He hit the blue and red lights and by the time he made a U-turn and made it back to her car, she had gotten back in and was headed south.
Hamed was able to stop the car and observed Billingsly appeared to be drunk. A blood test showed she was over twice the legal limit and had a blood alcohol content of .18.
She was charged with felony OWI and indecent exposure.
