BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a stabbing in Bartholomew County, according to the Bartholomew Co. Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were called around 7 a.m. Tuesday to a home on Scott Street in Hope on the report of a family fight.
77-year-old James Mee has been arrested for the stabbings. He faces preliminary charges of murder and domestic battery.
The stabbings are being investigated by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Columbus Police, the Bartholomew County Coroner, and the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office.
