PHOENIX, Ariz. — Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is suspending his 2024 presidential campaign and endorsing former President Donald Trump.
Speaking from Phoenix, Arizona, the Independent candidate said Trump best embodies his priorities. He said Trump asked him to serve in his administration right around the time of his assassination attempt.
After that call, Kennedy apparently reached out to Kamala Harris about having the same discussions, but she never returned his calls.
He believes the Democratic party of his father is gone and has become beholden to corporations and other entities.
