INDIANAPOLIS — Do you have old computers, printers, or video game systems that are just taking up space in your house? You can drop them off Saturday during a free electronics recycling event at Garfield Park.
The event will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Garfield Park’s Burello Family Center.
Acceptable electronics include anything with a cord attached, plus the following:
- Cell phones
- Circuit boards
- Computers / Laptops
- External disk drives
- External tape drive
- Gaming systems and accessories
- Hairdryers and styling irons
- Hard drives
- Joysticks
- Keyboards
- Microphones
- Microwaves
- Modems
- Monitors
- Mouse
- PC cards
- PC speakers
- Printers
- Scanners
- Tablets
- Toasters
- TVs (any size or age)
- Uninterrupted power supply batteries
- USB drives
IMPD officers will also be on hand to take your expired or unused prescription medications.
If you plan on attending, you should remain in your car and wear a face covering when interacting with staff members.
