MOORESVILLE, Ind. — A man from Mooresville faces child pornography charges.

Indiana State Police arrested 20-year-old Bryson Morris on Thursday following a months-long investigation.

In October, State Trooper Robert Whyte received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child pornography being exchanged on Snapchat. Whyte eventually identified Morris as a suspect.

State Police went to Morris’ home with a search warrant for his electronics and brought Morris in for an interview. During the interview, his phone was electronically searched and additional images of child pornography were found.

ISP says some of the images contained bondage and involved children under the age of twelve.

Morris was arrested and taken to the Morgan County Jail on the following charges:

  • Distribution of Child Pornography
  •  Possession of Child Pornography, Image Contains Bondage
  •  Possession of Child Pornography, Image Depicts Child Under 12 Years of Age, 2 counts
  •  Possession of Child Pornography, 4 counts
