The Marion County Coroner has identified the shooting victims as 34-year-old Savannah Blevins and 35-year-old Anthony Henderson Jr.
Police believe Henderson shot and killed Blevins before taking his own life.
INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were found dead Friday at an apartment on Indy’s southeast side, according to Indy Metro Police.
Officers were sent to an apartment at 7831 Tanza Road for a welfare check and discovered a man and woman who had been fatally shot. The apartment is located off of Stop 11 Road close to I-65.
Police believe the shooting happened sometime Friday, reports WIBC newsgathering partner WISH-TV.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
IMPD is still investigating.
