It turns out the propendency to commit sexual harassment is genetic. Just ask CNN anchor and butt-grabbing enthusiast Chris Cuomo and his brother, strip-poker aficionado Andrew Cuomo. Chris’s sexual harassment resume isn’t nearly as prolific as his older brother’s, but with time, patience, and a lack of accountability at CNN, he’ll get there eventually.

Veteran TV reporter Shelley Ross claimed in an op-ed for the New York Times Friday that Chris Cuomo was forced to write an apology email after grabbing her rear-end at a party in 2005.

Ross was Cuomo’s boss at ABC News in the early 2000s. She explained that regrettably, she isn’t trying to get the CNN anchor fired from his job, but stated she couldn’t stay silent after seeing Cuomo “escape accountability” for advising his brother, the grandma killer, during his sexual harassment scandal.

“I was at the party with my husband, who sat behind me on an ottoman sipping his Diet Coke as I spoke with work friends,” Ross wrote. “When Mr. Cuomo entered the Upper West Side bar, he walked toward me and greeted me with a strong bear hug while lowering one hand to firmly grab and squeeze the cheek of my buttock.”

That’s pretty detailed stuff. Sounds like the entire incident is undoubtedly indelible in her hippocampus.
