WIBC’s Jason Hammer reported Monday that a credible source who serves in the National Guard reached out to him with shocking allegations concerning conditions at Camp Atterbury in south-central Indiana. More than 6,000 Afghan refugees are currently being housed at the facility.
That initial report fueled outrage on social media and prompted several individuals connected to Camp Atterbury to contact us via email and direct message to confirm or refute the allegations.
Wednesday evening, WTHR aired a decidedly one-sided “VERIFY” report on our continuing investigation.
