ANDERSON, Ind. — The hot, dry weather we’ve experience this summer is not only having an effect on you, but an entire city.
The city of Anderson is going through drought-like conditions, according to a press release from Water Department Director Neal McKee.
McKee says if you live in Anderson, try to cut back on non-essential water usage for now. The water department is trying to stay under a 12.3-million gallon daily production limit. The limit was put in place after the department set a record for water production on Wednesday.
Businesses are not included in the water usage limit. The water-usage limit is not required.
