EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A primary care doctor from Evansville is accused of groping two female patients.

Both women reported being groped by Dr. James Jenison during the summer of 2019, according to court documents from the Attorney General’s office.

In both instances, the women reported that Dr. Jenison performed unannounced breast exams on them. Both women had been patients of Jenison’s for at least 30 years.

Jenison’s employment with Ascension St. Vincent was suspended in June 2019 and he resigned in July 2019.

Jenison is also accused of lying on his renewal application to the Medical Licensing Board, saying that he was not suspended, according to WEHT-TV. The Medical Licensing Board scheduled a hearing for Aug. 26 to discuss possible disciplinary sanctions.
