New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, broke the law, and retaliated against accusers, according to the findings of an extensive investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
The bombshell report is 165 pages and based on interviews with 179 people, including Cuomo himself.
The investigation concluded that the 11 women who said Gov. Cuomo touched them inappropriately, commented on their appearance, or made suggestive comments about their sex lives, were telling the truth.
The report also verified the claims of a former aide who said Cuomo groped her breast at the governor’s mansion and a female state trooper on his security detail, who said he “ran his hand or fingers across her stomach and her back.”
Cuomo released a video in response to the reports saying that, “the facts are much different than what has been portrayed” and that he “never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances.”
The governor also blamed “cultural and generational differences” in his response.
