An international group of scientists have posted a letter stating they believe the coronavirus leaked from a Chinese lab in Wuhan.
The World Health Organization concluded months ago that COVID-19 was most likely from an animal in a wildlife farm in China. Investigators with WHO say a lab leak was “extremely unlikely.” It is now known that WHO did not have all the information needed for the investigation before concluding that it wasn’t a leak.
Over a year later, 18 experts from the US, UK, Canada, and Switzerland say they are not convinced by the WHO report findings.
The letter states that each theory of how the virus was spread was not given equal consideration. They note that only four of the 313 page report looked into evidence of a lab accident.
This theory of a Wuhan leak isn’t new. In fact, months ago those who spoke out with the theory were vilified by the media. Tony Katz says the national media have made the virus political from the gecko and clearly intend to keep it that way.
Why was it conspiracy theory? If it was about Trump it would be an open question…but you have CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post so desperate to support the Chinese communists, so desperate to support their propaganda…
China was to blame and is to blame, but it was so much better politically to blame Donald Trump. They took a virus and made it political and I don’t know if America ever gets over that.
