INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were taken to the hospital early Monday morning after a police chase ended in a crash on the city’s east side.
Beech Grove police say officers tried to stop a stolen SUV at around 2 a.m., but the driver refused to stop and took off.
While trying to outrun the police, the driver lost control and crashed into two parked cars in the area of Brookville Road and Arlington Avenue.
Police tell WISH-TV that the driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
