INDIANAPOLIS — Seven people are without homes after a fire at an Indianapolis apartment complex.
The Indianapolis Fire Department was called to 2228 Harbor Drive just after 5 a.m. Monday.
Four apartments were damaged in the fire, IFD said on Twitter.
One firefighter and two people were slightly injured in the fire. One dog and one cat were killed.
An occupant told IFD the fire started with a cell phone charging cord.
The fire is under investigation.
