INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Black Expo has announced a slate of events for its 50th Summer Celebration in July 2021.

IBE has decided that most of its events with large gatherings will take place in outdoor venues that provide plenty of space or will be delivered virtually. All attendees at in-person events must wear a mask.

Summer Celebration events that will occur include:

  • Ecumenical Service | July 8 | TBD
  • 50th Summer Celebration Gala | July 10 | IMS
  • Minority Business Conference | July 12 | IBE Headquarters
  • Education Conference | July 13 – July 15 | Virtual
  • Free Outdoor Concert | July 16 | Lucas Oil Raceway
  • Indiana Black & Minority Health Fair | July 16 – July 18
  • All White Affair | July 17 | The Pavilion at Pan Am
  • Virtual Gospel Concert | July 18 | Virtual Facebook Event

Due to seating restrictions, capacity limits, or inability to socially distance in an indoor space, the following events will not occur:

  • Corporate Luncheon
  • Exhibition Hall (including entertainment stage)
  • Celebrity Basketball Game
  • Cultural Arts Pavilion
  • Amateur Boxing

The Youth Leadership Summit, Employment Opportunity Fair, and Technology Zone will occur at other times in 2021.
