Friday Governor Holcomb announced the Indiana Statehouse along with state government buildings downtown will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Inauguration Day, for fear of armed protests.

In the same announcement the governor stated that there have been no credible threats, they are acting out of ‘caution.’

You could argue it’s better to be safe than sorry, but Tony sees it differently.

“‘Well we’re just being safe, than sorry.’ Is that the message we’re showing? I think we are showing a message that we can’t do two things at the same time. I think we are showing ridiculous amounts of hyper-overreaction.”

Tony goes on to say this isn’t out of caution. The reality of the decision is political. They are letting potential mobs dictate their jobs.
