INDIANAPOLIS — Three people were shot and killed in separate shootings Wednesday night in Indianapolis. IMPD said two of the shootings happened at around the same time a little before 10:00 p.m.
One of the shootings happened at the Amber Woods Apartments just of Miffhoeffer Road on the east side.
“IEMS transported the adult male to an area hospital in critical condition,” said IMPD Officer William Young. “The male later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.”
The second shooting happened on the northwest side in the Eagledale neighborhood at an apartment complex near 34th street and Moller Road. Officer Young said officers found a man dead when they got to the shooting scene.
A few hours later in the early morning hours Thursday, Young said officers got called to 42nd street and Post Road where he said another person was found shot to death.
Young said they are still looking for suspects in all three shootings.
