INDIANAPOLIS — Seven people shot — two of them killed in separate shootings all across Indianapolis early Wednesday morning.

The first shooting was reported to Indianapolis Metro Police at around 1:30 when a person walked into St. Vincent Hospital on the north side with a gunshot wound. Officer William Young with IMPD said it isn’t clear yet where that person was shot.

Not long after that, officers were called to a home along Luxembourg Circle West in Wolfington between Guion Road and West Kessler Blvd just north of 38th Street. Young said two people were found shot in that area. They are both stable at the hospital.

Then officers got the call to 38th Street & Shore Drive, just a few miles from the shooting on Luxembourg Circle, where another person was shot. Young said that person is in critical condition and did not say if that shooting might be connected to the Luxembourg Circle shooting.

A little after 2:00 a.m. officers were then called to a home along North Bolton Avenue on the northeast side near 46th and Arlington.

“When officers arrived, they located two adult males suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced deceased by IEMS at the scene,” Officer Young said. “Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began canvassing the area for witnesses.”

The last shooting from Wednesday morning happened between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m in Christian park west of English Avenue and Emerson. Young said a person is in critical condition after being shot in that area.

Of all the shootings, Young did not say if they have any suspects.

“We have K-9 and SWAT units out to ensure that we either don’t have bad guy still out there or if someone injured that needs help,” said Lt. Kerry Buckner.
