INDIANAPOLIS — A woman accused of driving her van into a group of protesters on Monument Circle has been formally charged.
Diane Goebel is charged with criminal recklessness for the June 8 incident, Marion Co. Prosecutor Ryan Mears announced Friday.
Prosecutors believe Goebel attempted to drive slowly through a group of protesters when her van moved forward, hitting several people. At least four people were hurt in the collision.
An initial hearing has not been scheduled.
